SHIP IN A BOTTLE

Ever wonder how to get a ship-in-a-bottle. Here is your chance to find out.

The Ventura County Maritime Museum is offering a ship-in-a-bottle class to be held on the first two weekends in December. This project is offered free to anyone 11 to 99 years old.

A reasonable amount of eye hand coordination and finger dexterity is required. The project will take 5-6 hours to complete. Participants should plan to come to at least two of the four sessions.

There is no charge for the class and all materials and tools will be provided. You may bring your own bottle, but it must be a small clear Canada Dry soda water or tonic bottle.
